Origin Story

a DOUBLE BLIND denotes a test or trial, in which any information which may influence the behavior of the tester or the subject is withheld until after the test.

so Long story short …. my Shawshank redemption  begins   with a  two punch combination 

First I find myself somewhere I really don’t belong  , I shouldn’t be there , studying law at  university in London  .   

Spectrum testing paints a picture .  Looking at the overall results I feel cheated  .Blinkers removed . The feeling is of being taken in by a bogus self improvement cult  who preach one thing and one thing only endless repetition . I am on paper over qualified but not matched . I am a square peg in a round hole .  Not terrible . Not alone amongst my cohort certainly . On the margins . Given the right environment and enough support it is not impossible  but  it was not the smart informed choice . 

I had earned my way into university with no consideration  . I had worked hard rounded first base with terrible form at the same time as my law student peer group but objectively I had been  badly advised .

I am not 100 % sure why but with an easy way out  , I go from misfit to whistle blower to crisis actor , hapless victim to villain in the space of a year, accommodations removed, the rug pulled from under my feet ,  snowed under by an impossible workload .

I can only speculate that some feckless windbag in administration attempts to solve a problem that can not be solved with words  .Think Alex Jones shilling for the gun lobby  The same Alex Jones who was recently sued successfully  for 1 billion over the sandy hook defamation  .

A crisis actor defense is an effective deterrent not uncommon in law . A crisis actor defense means no black hat, no oversight . Assuming you have no moral compass  as a standard operating procedure it can be effective in burying bad news covering up shortcomings and moving reputational damage to victims. The Alex Jones  ruling  makes this an  ultra high risk strategy .

A year or so later  I am still scrambling to fix holes, gaps  I have become aware of too late in life  . After a deep dive  I stumble on an effective work around that simply put, fixes attention .  I  start punching my weight but it is too late . I am painted as a sandbagger . The toxic spillover from crisis actor character assassination is just enough to alter the zeitgeist.

I will throw such filth on you . You will be vilified, become a spectacle  . From Nahum Old testament 3:6  .  Nahum is talking about demonizing enemies  . 

The chance is lost to fix a hole in the system .To guide square pegs into square holes . To sidestep future mental health issues  .To help millions into the right high paying , highly rewarding tax paying roles
